YDI is a 26 year old contractor of Product Improvement Programs (PIP). Its expertise includes utilization of a full range of support platforms, including design, CAD-CAM Testing, Component Fabrication, Quality Assurance and Assembly. A graduate of the SBA 8(A) program and is certified with the U.S. Small Business Administrations as a SDB concern with the U.S. Government as part of its M.O.U. evaluation requirement.

 

The management staff of YDI has over seventy two years of military wheeled and track vehicle systems support experience. This includes management functions within the disciplines of Engineering, Logistics, Human Factors, Training, Operators and DS/GS level maintenance, Life Cycles, Testing and contract administration. Our management staff also has over 50 years of experience in support of commercial and passenger vehicle programs including OEM projects for G.M., Ford, Chrysler, Mercedes Benz, and BMW.

 

YDI provides support and production service for multiyear programs and include support capabilities that allow full electronic data transfer, compliance with DOD quality and performance standards and end item reliability. YDI has performed in over 100 DOD contracts with no cancellations of record.

 

YDI is a privately owned industrial producer of military, commercial, and passenger vehicle retrofit and modification kits. We also provide spare parts, components, and system integration support for a multitude of vehicle platforms. Our mission is simple, “we want tomorrows vehicles to be better than today’s”.
